Northeast Surgery, PA was originally established in 1993 by Drs. Clough and Horner in order to provide the quality of surgical care found at major teaching institutions but in the intimate and personalized setting of a private practice. It has grown over the years into the largest general surgical practice in the Bangor area serving a referral population that stretches to the Maine border and beyond. We remain committed to providing surgical care that is professional, current and confidential while at all times maintaining respect for the patient as an individual.

With over 80 years of combined clinical experience, we offer unparalleled care in all aspects of General Surgery. All of our surgeons have privileges at both the Eastern Maine Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor, and have close ties to the Women's Centers at both institutions. Our offices are adjacent to CancerCare of Maine which provides state-of-the-art medical and radiation oncology services for our cancer patients. We have specialized expertise in breast surgery, colorectal surgery, colonoscopy, endocrine surgery, bariatric surgery, surgical oncology, and advanced laparoscopy.
